Our Base Shoe Glass Railing system features tempered or laminated glass panels securely anchored in a durable, U-shaped base shoe (channel), creating a frameless-like appearance that prioritizes unobstructed views. The base shoe, crafted from high-grade materials, serves as both a structural support and a design element, concealing the glass edge for a clean, streamlined finish. Unlike traditional railing systems, our base shoe design eliminates the need for unsightly posts or clamps, allowing your space to feel more open, spacious, and connected to its surroundings
Seamless Aesthetic Appeal: The U-shaped base shoe conceals the glass edge, creating the illusion that the glass panels emerge directly from the floor. With no visible hardware, posts, or top rails (optional), this system delivers a minimalist, high-end look that complements any modern design scheme.
Uncompromising Safety Standards: Constructed with 12mm to 21.52mm tempered or laminated safety glass—tempered glass is 4-5 times stronger than standard glass, while laminated glass features a PVB interlayer that holds fragments together even if shattered. The base shoe design eliminates gaps between glass and floor, enhancing child safety by preventing small objects from slipping through.
Durable & Weather-Resistant Construction: Base shoes are made from high-grade aluminum 6063-T5 or stainless steel, offering exceptional corrosion resistance and durability. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the system withstands harsh weather conditions, saltwater exposure, and heavy foot traffic, ensuring long-term performance with minimal maintenance.
Versatile Installation Options: Available in surface-mounted (easily attached to existing floors) or recessed (embedded into the floor for a flush look) configurations. The modular design allows base shoes to be combined in 3m or 4m lengths, adapting to any space size—straight or angled for staircases and uneven surfaces.
Low Maintenance & Easy Care: With no posts or frames to clean, maintenance is simple. The glass panels can be wiped clean with standard glass cleaner, while the silicone adhesive or gaskets securing the glass require minimal upkeep. The corrosion-resistant base shoe eliminates the need for repainting or refinishing.
Customizable Design: Choose from clear, frosted, ultra-clear, green, or blue glass panels to match your design vision. Top handrails (square or round slotted stainless steel) are optional, and LED lights can be added for enhanced ambiance. Glass thickness and railing height (standard 42”/1067mm or customized) can be tailored to your project needs.
